I am a 64 year old, retired, police and fire dispatcher for the city of San Francisco.  I divide my time between the Bay Area and Green Valley, AZ.

I have known that I was a poet since the end of adolescence.  However, I largely avoided writing poetry until I was compelled by circumstances to do so.  It was a terrible way to fall awake.  I have been writing seriously, if sporadically, since 2007.  The creation of a web site is not an attempt to promote the poems; rather, I acknowledge them as I seek to preserve them.

There are a very few poems that I shall not record here.  Either they refer to others or to my Alma Mater.
